15 Gift Ideas for the Dad in Your Life
Father’s Day is almost here. If the man in your life is anything like mine, he doesn’t want much but when he wants something he just gets it. The other thing that makes gift giving difficult is his hobbies are unique and his wants are specific. Honestly, for his birthday he asked for a harpoon! A HARPOON! I don’t even know where to begin to buy one. So he ordered the harpoon and I attempted to wrap it.
I guess I am pretty much the same. I prefer not to leave things to chance. Though honestly, I drop enough hints that if he just listened a bit, he could make a really long list of specific things I want. Oh. But I digress. For me gift giving brings me joy. I really like finding items I think people will want and use. I also think gift giving is a great time to give people items they wouldn’t necessarily buy for themselves like the cool pair of cufflinks above. They are really nice to have but very few people rush out to buy them for themselves.

Here are 15 items that any Dad on your list will love. I am a huge fan of backpacks as gifts and the rag & bone backpack is on sale, water-resistant and super cool along with fourteen other items sure to make your Dads smile.
- Hydro-Flask 16oz Wide Mouth Coffee Mug – Anything coffee related will be a huge hit in my house. This 16oz might hold enough coffee for the coffee lover in your life.
- Ray Ban Justin Sunglasses – These sunglasses are just cool and polarized which is a must.
- Boss Albert Cuff Links – Every man should own one nice pair by age 30 IMHO.
- Gucci GG Supreme King Snake Billfold – My husband isn’t in to designer items but a cool wallet is always a nice gift. My son has this wallet and loves it.
- Earth tu Face Palmarosa + Aloe Face Wash – Does the man in your life have a skincare routine? They should. Gently nudge them into skincare with the fabulous facial wash.
- Beaded Bracelet – I am partial to Onyx for its protective power but this beaded bracelet is gorgeous.
- OluKai Ohana Flip Flop – These are the very best flip flops you can buy. They have the best support and are the most comfortable. We all wear them and love them.
- Levtex “Best Dad in the World” Pillow – Remind him of what you know is true.
- Patagonia Black Hole Medium Travel Kit – This has been on my husband’s list for a while. A good travel kit is a must have for any adventurer.
- Jack Mason Aviation Watch – I love the contrast of blue face and brown strap on this casual watch.
- ONIVA Outlander Camp Chair – A good camp chair isn’t just for camping anymore. It can be used in so many ways including at the beach, sporting event or even for extra seating at parties in your yard.
- Wüsthof 4-piece BBQ set – If the kitchen is your domain, the BBQ is your king’s castle. Upgrade his utensils with this fab BBQ set.
- Patagonia Windproof Vest – A good vest is a must for all men. Patagonia is hot right now but honestly it never goes out of style.
- rag & bone Field Water-resistant Nylon & Leather Backpack – I don’t think there is a better gift to give. If I didn’t upgrade my hubby’s backpack he would still be schlepping around with his camp backpack that is ragged and dirty.
- Tommy Bahama Baja Mahana Boardshorts – Honestly, I really like the name of these board shorts. Try saying it ten times fast.
Here is a quick shout out to the best father and husband a women could ever want – Kent Twomey. He is an awesome, loving, involved father and he takes such great care of us all. He also encourages me on this blogging adventure which so far has cost us more money than it has made. He believes in me and my dream and that has made all of the difference. Happy Father’s Day Boo.
