Spring Fever is Here!
It finally feels like spring and spring fever has definitely hit our house. Easter is late this year, meaning my kids break is also really late. We are definitely ready for some time free of school commitments. I would say time to relax but for the break, Cami and I are headed east for college tours and some time in NYC. The boys are headed fishing and the week after break Cole heads to D.C. with his school for a week long tour of historical sites. Relaxation will have to wait till summer.
All this travel has me a bit in a tizzy as I need to plan packing for multiple people to multiple destinations. Once upon a time, I could organize the whole thing in my head but now that seems impossible and lists have become my new best friend. My goal is to have everyone packed and ready the weekend before. So right now, I am knee deep in outfit planning and organizing.

SoCal Spring
Spring is wonderful here in SoCal but to be honest it can be deceptively cold. The sun will shine bright and the skies will be clear blue but the temp doesn’t get out of the mid 60’s which for this native, is still a bit chilly. It is far too chilly for dresses and shorts (and truth be told, way too early to bare my seriously white legs) but spring is a great time to pull out your favorite pants that are light weight and comfortable and perfect for a spring day. Because the weather is still chilly, I like to wear with a light-weight, long sleeve top and a jacket. My current favorite jacket is this Madewell Field Jacket.

Spring is one of my favorite seasons for dressing. Despite the fickle weather, it is nice to put away the heavy sweaters and boots from winter and return to clothes that are light and airy. After a season dominated (for me) by black, grey and khaki, it is refreshing to add pops of color to an outfit. I hope these outfits inspire your spring wardrobe. If I could recommend one pair of pants for the season, I would say buy the AG Jeans Caden Crop. They come in a ton of colors and are perfect for travel and everyday. I have my eye on the red. But honestly, there are so many great options for spring pants. Here are some of my favorites.
