Teen Boy Gift Guide

Teen Boy Gift Guide - Electronics, clothes, shoes and fun

Every year I stress the most about gifts for my son. He is by far the most difficult person on my list. He is now 15, and every year the challenge gets steeper. If he wants something, it usually is big like a “new gaming computer” big. Every year, my goal is to find things he will be excited about even if he doesn’t yet know what he wants.

I asked this year for a list, and this was the first year he said I don’t really want anything. Ugh! That makes it hard for a mom. This mom has a trick up her sleeve, but I won’t share it here in the off chance (very off chance. Like no chance but just to be safe.) he actually reads this post. You can always send me a message if you are interested.

This year, with no list from my son to help me, I compiled this gift guide alone. I did get a little help from my wonderful daughter. She is the easy one to shop for because she wants all the things and is going away to college next year. But without further ado, here is my list of 25 gifts for the teen boy in your life:

The Top 25 Gift for Teen Boys

  1. Blue Crown Los Angeles Beanie – On the Teen Girl Gift Guide, the East Coast was represented; now, I am covering my beloved West Coast with this fun beanie.
  2. Braided Leather Bracelet – This leather bracelet is cool and masculine. Easy to put on and never take off. The leather gets better with age.
  3. Hank RFID Billfold Wallet – One thing my son does love is cash. A good wallet is a must for any teen boy.
  4. Gtracing Gaming Chair – A good gaming chair is perfect for the kid who loves computer games or is stuck in online school.
  5. Apple Watch Series 6 – The new Apple Watch has many upgrades and the ability to track your child anywhere with the cellular option. Don’t share that part with them, though.
  6. Apple AirPods Pro – Kids these days walk around with AirPods all the time. I find the Pro pair to be so much more comfortable.
  7. Base Camp Travel Canister – This is a nice, durable dop kit bag in an easy to find bright color.
  8. Savage Cologne – Your teen boy needs a good cologne. It makes a big difference. Trust me.
  9. Led Zeppelin Tee – Consider this a cultural gift. Inspire them to learn about one of the greatest bands of all time.
  10. F-Bomb Paperweight – We are not prudish in this household, and the F-bombs do happen. This paperweight is kinda awesome.
  11. Party Light Trio – Perfect for the college dorm kid. So many are stuck in their rooms right now. Let them party in the safety of their own space.
  12. Galvanized Basketball Hoop Dry Erase Board – Does your kid love making shots into the trash can yelling, “Kobe”? No, just mine? Well, I haven’t met a teen boy that doesn’t appreciate an indoor basketball hoop.
  13. Constantin Brainteasers – For the teen who thinks they know everything. In other words, every teen.
  14. AE City Joggers – These are my son’s favorite joggers. The perfect weight for cool weather and available in long lengths.
  15. Portable Projector – This splurge-worthy portable projector allows you to watch a movie on your wall. Pretty cool and super small.
  16. Bose Bluetooth Portable Speaker – Recommended as a must-have for the college dorm. This one comes with a charging dock.
  17. Panasonic Electric Razor – A good electric razor is a must. It is the only way I get my son to shave. He doesn’t want to be bothered with a razor and shaving cream.
  18. Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket – This lightweight jacket provides lots of warmth without bulk. Water-resistant too.
  19. Ugg Throw Blanket – Yes. A throw blanket for teen boys. They like to be cozy too. I got a throw blanket last Christmas, and I haven’t seen it since. My son absconded with it to his room after the new year.
  20. Stack Hoodie – The uber-cool Obey brand hoodie will score you major cool points with your teen boy.
  21. Nike Sport Slide – A popular after-sport slide.
  22. Brixton Snap Back Hat – You can’t go wrong with a cool cap.
  23. MVMT Element Watch – I got my son an MVMT watch last year. The styles are dope, and the quality is amazing for the price. Yes. I did say dope. My son is somewhere rolling his eyes.
  24. Microfleece Pajama Pants – Fun pajama pants to wear year-round. Pretty much what my son lives in.
  25. Xboy Bluetooth Speaker – A smaller and more affordable speaker in a cute shape.

There are only 37 days left until Christmas. Are you ready? Men’s Gifts and Stocking Stuffers are up next. You can also check out my other Gift Guide Posts: Teen Girls, Girlfriends, and Men’s.
