I wasn\u2019t a fan of last year\u2019s color &#8211; Coral. I have nothing against the color coral, but it just felt like a miss. It just didn\u2019t seem to meet Pantone\u2019s vision for choosing a color of the year, \u00a0\u201cto capture what is taking place in our global culture at the moment in time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But Pantone True Blue feels spot-on for 2020. True Blue is Navy blue\u2019s younger, prettier sister. Maybe it is my wish for a blue wave in 2020, which makes True Blue so hopeful, but it is definitely fresher than navy and more modern than last year&#8217;s coral.<\/p>\n<p>Retailers are already onboard, offering pretty blue options in everything from lingerie to coats.
