I must admit I spend a lot of time online. It is primarily for the blog (wink, wink), but I have always been a fashion lover and, therefore, reader connoisseur of all things fashion. If you spend any time on Instagram following fashion bloggers (if you do, I hope you would consider following me<\/a>), you have probably noticed this Anthropologie<\/a> top before. It is definitely a gram favorite.<\/p>\n

The top is bright, flowy, and attention-getting. For that reason, I never really considered trying it because I felt it worked best in photos, not real life. Also, I am often afraid of bright patterns on my 5’9″ frame. Then one day, I was browsing Anthropologie, and I came across the same top in the leopard print<\/a>. The colors are more muted, and I love the mix of greens and peaches that make this top so yummy.<\/p>\n

Decided to Step Out of My Comfort Zone<\/span><\/p>\n

So when Anthropologie had their holiday sale, I picked it up to try. I fell in love with the colors of the top, but I still wasn’t sure if the voluminous sleeves would work for me. I decided to bring the top to Mexico and give it a whirl. I wore it out one of the first nights and felt festive and pretty. The top is lightweight and flowy and quite honestly lovely. I wore it again two more times on my trip because it is the perfect top for a tropical vacation.<\/p>\n

I am usually not a fan of voluminous sleeves, but the viscose fabric drapes nicely. The shoulders have a beautiful embroidered detail that gives this blouse a boutique quality and is very flattering even on broader shoulders like mine. As you can see in the photo above, it is a tad transparent, so if you are looking for a bit more modesty, add a nude camisole.<\/p>\n

How to Wear\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This top looks great worn casually or dressed up. You could easily layer this under a structured jacket or blazer for the office. I wear it with both skinny jeans<\/a> and boot cut jeans<\/a>. You could easily wear with black trousers for a more dressy look. I like adding a pop of color with my shoes to balance the print of the top. My shoes are from J.Crew<\/a>.\u00a0 The heels are pretty high for me, but because they are block heels, they are amazingly comfortable.<\/p>\n

This fabulous top comes in three different leopard prints. The same blouse is also available in two additional prints, which are the ones often seen on the gram. All are fabulous! I am so glad I gave it a go. Sometimes stepping outside your comfort zone offers fantastic results.<\/p>\n
