I am entirely shopped out after the holiday. With all the gift purchases and the inevitable “one for me” purchases, I can’t think of a thing I need. I shopped the After-Christmas sales, not thinking of when my packages would be delivered. We went on vacation the 27th, and boxes started arriving that day. It took two neighbors to help collect all the packages, including two rugs I purchased from Wayfair. Oopsy.<\/p>\n

In my defense, there are a lot of great deals to be had after Christmas. Also, my DD birthday is mid-January, and I always wait to see what she didn’t get for Xmas that she wanted. Then I pick those items up for her birthday. And now here we are in January, and my pile of returns is huge.<\/p>\n

5 Coats You Need – On Sale!<\/h2>\n

1. Camel Wool Coat\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

If you don’t own a classic camel coat, now is the time to pick one up. Not only are they having a moment, but they never really go out of style. Because they are trendy this year, there are so many options on sale now. The coat I’m wearing below is from Everlane<\/a>. Their coats rarely go on sale, but because they practice transparent pricing, the cost is reasonable compared to similar jackets. I am wearing the Cacoon Coat, which sold out but I like the Italian ReWool Coat<\/a> as an alternative.<\/p>\n

When considering a classic coat, look for simple silhouettes.\u00a0 Stick with a traditional collar whichever style suits your needs. Buttons are easily replaced, so don’t worry too much about them. However, buttons are one quick way to tell the quality of a coat. Cheap buttons (not necessarily cheap looking because there are some expensive, “cheap” looking buttons out there)\u00a0 point to inferior quality and likely poor quality.<\/p>\n

A good camel coat can last for years so I recommend buying the best one you can afford. With year after year usage, the cost per wear CPW will be low. With so many great options on sale right now, you can pick up a higher quality coat for the price.<\/p>\n
