I have been a follower of fashion as long as I can remember. At ten, I begged for a subscription to Seventeen Magazine which my mom thought was too sexualizing of women.\u00a0 About five years ago, I started reading fashion blogs and following fashion influencers on Instagram. I know a little late to the party. Then, after reading and following, I realized, I could do that and StyleDahlia was born.<\/p>\n

There are still several blogs I read religiously because the writing is so good or because their style matches closely to mine. I follow a bunch of influencers online to help inspire me. Because, I spend so much time online, it is inevitable that I will eventually be swayed into trying things I see.<\/p>\n

Of course, the reason blogs and influencers are so successful is a result of the followers who trust their opinions. My goal as a blogger is to build trust with my readers and recommend only products, I would actually use. That means you won’t see any sponsored posts for perfume because I am allergic to almost every scent. However, if I find a scent that works for me I will definitely share it.<\/p>\n

I tend to read blogs and take advice from people who also subscribe to this type of integrity. So it is no surprise, I have found some great items as a result of recommendations from influencers.<\/p>\n

I am starting with shoes because I am truly obsessed with these sneakers. You all know I am a sneaker addict; so when some of my fav influencers started showing up with the pre-distressed, bling sneakers, I was definitely intrigued. I finally took the plunge after seeing the GGDB Leopard Glitter<\/a> sneakers on Seersucker + Saddle blog<\/a> and reading the GGDB review by Fashion Jackson<\/a>.\u00a0 The slightly elevated heel inside the shoe ultimately sold me on these clearly expensive sneakers. As someone with foot issues, a small heel is better than flat any day.<\/p>\n

The great thing is that they come in so many amazing styles. You can definitely find one to fit your style and personality. Every time I wear a pair, I get a ton of compliments. My collection of sneakers is every-growing and now my closet is filling with GGDB. You won’t be disappointed. These are great shoes!<\/p>\n
