I am just a SoCal girl with a serious love of fashion! After years of giving my friends fashion advice and helping them shop, I decided to turn my passion into a business.<\/p>

Launched in 2019, StyleDahlia is a fashion and lifestyle blog for modern mid-life. My style is casual, comfortable and relatable with a hint of edge. I enjoy combining current trends with classic pieces to keep my wardrobe fresh. Chances are I will find a way to add my favorite sneakers to any outfit.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am a mom of two fabulous kids, both in high school.\u00a0 As a family we take advantage of all California has to offer from the mountains to the seas. We love new adventures and exploring our broader world. As I spiral toward an empty nest, I don\u2019t take for granted any of these precious moments.<\/p>

Mid-life is truly a new beginning. My age has allowed me to take more risks, speak my truth and follow my dreams. StyleDahlia is a celebration of a life in full bloom.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

  • I grew up in Santa Barbara and have lived in San Diego for the last 27 years. I am definitely a SoCal girl.<\/li>\n
  • I have a wonderful husband, two fabulous children, a daughter (17) and a son (14) and two fur babies.<\/li>\n
  • Even though I love fashion, I live a casual lifestyle so I focus on fitting fashion trends into my easy-going style.<\/li>\n
  • I love sneakers. I buy them all the time and wear them everywhere with everything.<\/li>\n
  • It isn\u2019t uncommon for me to wear three outfits in a day. I know crazy, right?<\/li>\n
  • I am allergic to most all perfumes and a majority of flowers but not Dahlias.<\/li>\n
  • I eat peanut butter almost every day.<\/li>\n
  • I love a good book and I read whenever I can.<\/li>\n
  • I believe in the protective power of Onyx. I usually wear at least one piece of Onyx jewelry each day.<\/li>\n
  • I love to travel and I travel a lot for my daughter\u2019s sport.<\/li>\n
  • I consider myself an introvert.<\/li>\n
  • I think the most attractive thing about a person is their confidence.<\/li>\n
  • I got my first tattoo at 48, my second at 50 and I’ve planned a couple more.<\/li>\n
  • I just passed 50 but that doesn’t define my style.<\/li>\n
  • It makes my day when my 17-year-old daughter compliments my outfit. Hey! I take what I can get.
