Sales Report 5.17.19
I am hiding in my bedroom with the dogs. We are in the middle of replacing our downstairs floors after a leak and flood. There is dust everywhere which no matter how much I mop seems to settle back down in place. It is raining outside and it is times like this that I am so grateful for the internet. Of course, there is so much to do online, I haven’t been as good with my reading. I really need to work on that this summer. Do you make summer goals? What books are you loving lately? The last book I loved was The Hate You Give by Angie Thomas.
As Memorial Day quickly approaches retailers are ramping up their sales. That means less reading and more shopping. The biggie starts next Wednesday. The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale. Look for my post on my favorite picks coming soon.

I searched everywhere for a pair of Golden Goose sneakers I saw on a blogger. I finally found them at Farfetch. I also purchased the Off-White purse for my daughter on Farfetch. I ended up getting 40% off!

I am still looking forward to the Nordstrom sale. I always find something I can’t live without. Nordstrom items feature prominently in all of my posts. You absolutely can’t beat there customer service. I ordered a pair of Mother denim jeans in an aged black. I love this denim color for summer. It feels totally fresh and unexpected. I wore them on spring break in Boston. After one wear stretch in the denim seemed to give out. In the photo below, you can see the jeans sagging at my knees and ankles and honestly, I was afraid they would fall off they stretched so much at the waist. Even though, I had worn them, Nordstrom took them back no questions asked! You gotta love that. BTW – I have other Mother denim (a favorite of Meghan Markle) and have never had a problem.
This weekend is full of activities. Tomorrow we celebrate my nephew graduation with honors from my alma mater. Saturday the kids are busy and we have a charity event to attend. Sunday is Game of Thrones series finale. Who will sit on the Iron Throne? I can’t wait to know but I am sad to see it end.
