This year we all spent way more time with our significant others than we have in previous years. My hubby has been working mostly from home since March. What I realized is he spends like 95% of his day On. The. Phone. I am very grateful we sprung for the double pain doors on his office. The difference between the doors being open & the doors being closed is my sanity.
Overall, this year hasn’t been bad. As we always do when things get hard, we came together to get it done. When I was feeling overwhelmed or just numb, my hubby picked up the slack and vice versa. How you handle adversity together is a sign of your relationship strength. We have always been a team. There may be some debate about who the coach is, but he knows it is me. 😜 In all seriousness, I wouldn’t have made it through 2020 without him.
Valentine’s isn’t usually a big holiday for us. We have been married for almost 20 years. However, this year, I am feeling the need to share some extra love with my hubby. I really do appreciate all he does for our family. So I decided to get him a little something special.
