Anthropologie Decorating Event – 20% Off

For a limited time Anthropologie offers 20% off full price furniture, decor, bedding and more. You all know, Anthro is one of my favorite places for clothes but it is also one of my favorite places to find unique things for the home. We moved to our new home about four years ago knowing we planned to do a complete remodel. Once we settled on our design, much of our furniture just didn’t work with our more modern home (much to my hubby’s dismay).

In my previous home, I designed it to look as though grown ups lived in the house but really there were none to be found. The whole look was too formal and too traditional for me. I chalk it up to inexperience and my preconceived notion of “how things should be”. With our new home, my goal was to create a space that was more modern and livable. Comfort is key in everything and I wanted our home to reflect our easy-going CA vibe.

Part of making sure my home reflected our lifestyle was doing it myself. Of course, I didn’t know how much I was biting off but my husband and I worked together and are a great team. When we got down to decorating, I spent hours online looking for perfect items. Anthropologie never disappoints.

Anthropologie Art

My taste in art is driven by what makes me feel all the feels. I want art to move me and lure me in. I am drawn to feminine pieces, florals and strong black abstracts. When shopping for my home, I found so many good pieces, I decided to do a gallery on my dining room wall but at the same time, because I haven’t found the exact right piece, the wall in our family room is still bare. I would rather it be exactly what I want than hanging something just to fill the space. The great thing about Anthro art is that many of the pieces are offered in multiple frame options.  Here are some of my favorites from Anthropologie. I have several in my home and so many I love but have no place for.

Anthropologie Furniture

Anthropologie has a great selection of eclectic furniture. It is easy to find a unique piece to add to your space that will stand out and make your home special. I love their wood carved pieces. I have two small dressers as end tables in my master bedroom. Anthropologie furniture is not inexpensive but most designs are timeless and will last forever. Furniture like art, is such a personal thing but here are a few of the pieces I am loving right now.

Anthropologie Decor

Anthropologie has fun decorator items and bedding. I prefer white bedding with fun accent pillows. They also have beautiful quilts and print duvets if that is more your jam. Adding something unexpected, like a bee curtain holder, can add character to your home and highlight your personality. My picks for decor are below. As with all of the picks, I really, really tried to stick to items covered on the sale. Please double check before purchasing.

Anthropologie doesn’t specify how long this sale will last but I suspect through the Labor Day weekend. If you love something, pick it up soon. I would love it if you followed me on Instagram for my everyday outfits or on Pinterest for my design and home inspiration. Happy Shopping Dahlias.
