You Need This Dress!
I’ve had this dress for a few years now and it is my go to for travel, nights out and anytime I need to feel pulled together but don’t want to put in the effort (which is often, cause I am lazy, y’all). I have worn this ten pounds heavier and twenty pounds lighter. Don’t judge! The struggle is real! It fits beautifully every time, due to the exact right amount of stretch.
You know what I mean? When something has too much stretch, you end up feeling like a sausage in an extra-tight casing. Speaking of sausage, I rarely have to wear this dress with Spanx as this dress has the perfect amount of ruching right at the belly and hips. The dress is two layers of cotton and this helps smooth everything out. It truly is amazingly flattering!
Low Cost Per Wear (CPW)
I know this dress is on the pricey side for some of you but I promise the investment is worth it. The cost per wear will be low after years of regular use. You will reach for this dress time and time again. As I said, I bought this dress probably four years ago and I still wear it regularly and it still looks great!
I have tried picking up less expensive versions of this dress either sleeveless or striped and I haven’t had the same luck as with the James Perse. It made my list of Items I Can’t Live Without and I am sure you will love it as much as I do.
