Yep. It is that time of year again—time to make your list and start shopping. Shopping early is especially important this year as the supply chain issues are sure to affect inventories. I have personally been waffling between just purchasing the items I want and waiting to see if they go on sale on Black Friday. For the critical items (you know #1 or #2 on my kids’ list), I have just gone ahead and picked them up.
To help you cross off items from your gift list, I have compiled a list of more than 50 items, all $50 or less, covering many of the difficult to shop for people on your list, including the homebody, the beauty lover, and the Esty fanatic. Read on for inspiration.

For The Homebody
Don’t we all have a little homebody in us now? Maybe it is just the introvert in me but staying home isn’t so rough. Sure, quarantine made me miss eating out and going to the mall, but I enjoy time at home just as much as I always have, maybe even more.
- Ugg Emersyn 3-Pack Socks – I’m not kidding when I tell you these are on the list of my favorite things. My kids think it is uncool to give socks as a gift, but they haven’t put these bad boys on their feet yet. They will change their tune.
- The Orginal Comfy – Is the perfect gift for homebodies living with a blanket hog. This blanket will keep you warm and toasty even when folding laundry.
- Flannel Pajama Pants – Belong in the homebody starter pack. They are a staple no true homebody can ever live without.
- French Cade & Lavender 16 oz. Candle – The only candles I burn in my house. All the scents are lovely and not too overpowering.
- Moonlight Short Pajamas – Why do I love staying at home? Because you can wear pajamas all day if you want.
- Plush Faux Fur Slippers – are a must for keeping the tootsies warm. Do people say tootsies anymore?
- Bliss Plush Throw – a blanket you might be willing to share with your fellow home buddy.
For The Foodie
Below are several gifts to impress your food fanatic friends & family. Each is $50 or under but will delight even the most discerning cook. Of course, I am not a discerning cook. More of a discerning Door Dasher. Maybe in another life, I will be born with the joy of cooking. For now, I will just play one on TV.
- William Sonoma Hot Chocolate & Salted Carmel Hot Chocolate Set – Do I need to say more? Simple, the best hot chocolate on the market.
- Crate & Barrel French Press – Many coffee enthusiasts swear by the coffee from a simple French Press.
- Electric Push Button Cork Screw – Wish they had something like this back in my wino days. Perfect for the lover of good wine. You know, the kind that doesn’t come with a screw top.
- Galaxy Mini Croissants – Who doesn’t love a flaky, buttery croissant? But who buys them for themselves to make at home? Not many people. But any good foodie will love pulling these hot out of the oven for their guests.
- Molcajete – In California, Avocados are practically a religion. Guacamole is the patron saint, and everyone has an opinion on the best way to make it. Undeniably, a molcajete is a must for quality guacamole.
- Monogrammed Serving Board – With the rise in popularity of charcuterie boards, everyone could use a pretty new serving board.
- Cuisinart 4-Cup Elemental Food Processor – At under $40 this is a fabulous gift for your foodie friends. I rarely pull my big food processor out, but this little one would make all the chopping oh so easy.

For The Etsy Lover
Etsy is the perfect place for the handmade item lover or unique item lover on your list. You can find almost anything on Etsy. Etsy items shouldn’t be bogged down by the supply chain issues other vendors are struggling with. But shop early as some sellers take quite a bit of time to ship their items because they make to order or have limited inventory. Regardless, Etsy is a perfect place to find that one-of-a-kind item for that one-of-a-kind person in your life.
