50 Gifts Under $50

Yep. It is that time of year again—time to make your list and start shopping. Shopping early is especially important this year as the supply chain issues are sure to affect inventories. I have personally been waffling between just purchasing the items I want and waiting to see if they go on sale on Black Friday. For the critical items (you know #1 or #2 on my kids’ list), I have just gone ahead and picked them up.

To help you cross off items from your gift list, I have compiled a list of more than 50 items, all $50 or less, covering many of the difficult to shop for people on your list, including the homebody, the beauty lover, and the Esty fanatic.  Read on for inspiration.

For The Homebody

Don’t we all have a little homebody in us now? Maybe it is just the introvert in me but staying home isn’t so rough. Sure, quarantine made me miss eating out and going to the mall, but I enjoy time at home just as much as I always have, maybe even more.

3. Flannel Pajama Pants – Belong in the homebody starter pack. They are a staple no true homebody can ever live without.

5. Moonlight Short Pajamas – Why do I love staying at home? Because you can wear pajamas all day if you want.

For The Foodie

Below are several gifts to impress your food fanatic friends & family. Each is $50 or under but will delight even the most discerning cook. Of course, I am not a discerning cook. More of a discerning Door Dasher. Maybe in another life, I will be born with the joy of cooking. For now, I will just play one on TV.

12. Molcajete – In California, Avocados are practically a religion. Guacamole is the patron saint, and everyone has an opinion on the best way to make it. Undeniably, a molcajete is a must for quality guacamole.

17. Simple Modern Insulated Tumbler – I could put this item on the homebody list as well. This tumbler is, by far, my favorite purchase of 2020. I have two: one for iced tea and one for water. I have given them as gifts to everyone I know. They are simply the best.

For The Accessories Junkie

You know that person in your life who always looks fabulous and pulled together. Chances are it is the accessories. The right accessories definitely make an outfit. So here are some gift ideas to add to your favorite accessories junkie’s collection. Honestly, anyone could use a new bangle or bauble. Accessories are always a great gift.

Etsy is the perfect place for the handmade item lover or unique item lover on your list. You can find almost anything on Etsy. Etsy items shouldn’t be bogged down by the supply chain issues other vendors are struggling with. But shop early as some sellers take quite a bit of time to ship their items because they make to order or have limited inventory. Regardless, Etsy is a perfect place to find that one-of-a-kind item for that one-of-a-kind person in your life.

This has been my most ambitious gift guide to date. I realize many of you want gifts at a reasonable price point. Hopefully, this list will help you shop this holiday season.
